Hi! Me and my boyfriend are thinkning about taking a trip to WDW in the winter. Neither of us have been to Disney in the winter before and we're curious about when/if the water parks ever close?

During the winter, typically each of the water parks will be taken out of service for routine maintenance for 4 to 6 weeks, but the water parks will not be closed simultaneously. One of the water parks will always be open.

I typically travel to WDW in January and February. The weather is not always water park suitable at that time, but I have found that during a winter week there are usually at least one or two days that are warm and sunny enough for water park fun. My family always takes advantage of the warm days by heading to the open water park. Those slides are a blast!
