Hello Brooke,
Welcome to planDisney! I'd be happy to help get you on your way to a magical 2-day visit to
Walt Disney World Resort.
There is currently a special
Florida Resident Disney Weekday Magic Ticket offer available through April 27 for visits Monday through Friday. It looks like you're planning to arrive on a Friday, so unfortunately this offer wouldn't apply to a Friday and Saturday visit. If you'd like to adjust your dates to take advantage of the offer keep in mind proof of Florida residency is required in addition to admission and valid park reservations, and certain
blockout dates apply.
I took a look at the other Florida resident ticket options and saw that only 1, 3, or 4 days ticket were mentioned, as you indicated. I reached out to a Cast Member for more information and they advised that you'd only receive a resident discount starting at three days of tickets. Pricing for single-day tickets is date and park-based and would be the same for both residents and non-residents.
If you'd like to stick with two days of tickets that include weekend days, Standard Theme Park tickets can be purchased for a single day or up to 10 days. Click "Continue" on the
Theme Park ticket page, and then select the total number of days you'd like. You'll see options for 1-10 day tickets, which will be discounted per day with additional days purchased. Select 2 days of tickets and you'll be prompted to choose your start date. If you purchase with a March 24 start date you can use the tickets on non-consecutive days through March 27.
Once you've selected your dates you'll also have the option to purchase 1 park-per-day tickets or upgrade to the
Park Hopper Option. This would give you the ability to visit multiple parks on the same day, with hopping currently available after 2 p.m. I like to purchase Park Hopper tickets on shorter visits so I can spend time in each of the four parks during my stay. I typically like to start one day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and then hop to Disney's Hollywood Studios in the afternoon. On the next day, I'll begin at Magic Kingdom Park, take the Monorail to EPCOT for an afternoon stroll around World Showcase and then return to Magic Kingdom Parks for the evening fireworks.
Keep in mind that valid
park pass reservations are required in addition to purchased admission for each day you plan to visit. You can check the
current availability calendar before making your ticket purchase.
I hope this helps, Brooke! Be sure to keep an eye on
special offers available for Florida residents for any future trips you have planned, and come back and ask us any additional planning questions. We'd love to help make your visit memorable and magical!
See you real soon,
Amy
