My boyfriend and I are planning on going to Disney world next fall for a combination of our anniversary (which is in July :-/), his birthday (oct 19th), and the Mickey Halloween Party. Are there any complimentary things we can get or any tips?

    Hi Andrew,
Thanks for submitting your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You and your sweetie are in for quite a treat! You can get buttons to commemorate your anniversary and birthday at City Hall in the Magic Kingdom (or at Guest Relations at the other theme parks) or at check-in if you're staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. While there are no guarantees about special treatment with these buttons, you may just be the recipient of a magical moment during your visit.

You are going to have a ball at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Be sure to purchase your tickets early (keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to see when they go on sale) because they often sell out. You'll get a wrist band and a complimentary treat bag when you enter the park, but I often suggest a lightweight drawstring backpack to carry around your goodies so you have your hands free in the park.

There are many special things you can do during your visit, such as the recently introduced Ferrytale Wishes: A Fireworks Dessert Cruise. Imagine enjoying delicious desserts on a Ferryboat with a view of Wishes, the Magic Kingdom fireworks display, while cruising on Seven Seas Lagoon!

Andrew, I hope you and your boyfriend have a magical visit!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
