My boyfriend and I (21 and 24) planned a short-notice vacation to WDW for August. We really wanted to do a character dinner but were having trouble getting reservations, except at LTT. Is this meal worth it???

    Hi Jennifer,

I love a good character meal because it accomplishes two things: a meal to refuel during touring and characters which I do not have to wait any additional time to see. This is a bigger deal when you have little ones who do not like to wait in line but want their pictures with the characters.

For you, look at off times to see the characters by trying lunches or the last seating of a time period. Also, you may be able to walk up to a restaurant and get service as well. Finally, keep trying Disney Dining as guest's change there mine and so reservations do free up.

To see characters visit these hot spots: Main Street and Mickey's Toontown in Magic Kingdom, the countries in EPCOT, Camp Minnie Mickey in Animal Kingdom and in front of the Sorcerer's Hat in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

    Have a great trip!
