Hi Gordon,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your great question about your upcoming visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays. If you also have a home in Florida, it sounds like you are probably a big Disney fan, just like we are here at planDisney!
In order to take advantage of the benefits offered to Florida residents, you must first prove your Florida residency. There is no rule against dual residency, you will just need to provide information that you are also a resident of Florida. The simplest way to do this is to provide a Florida driver's license or state-issued ID card. If you do not have a Florida ID, you may still be able to prove your Florida residency by providing one of the following items:
- Proof of current mortgage with your Florida address
- Certain bills, policies, or registrations with your Florida address
- Current utility bill with your Florida address
- Mail from financial institutions with your Florida address
- Mail from city, county, state, or government agencies with your Florida address
To view the details of the above items, follow this link to the page for
Proof of Florida Residential Address. If you determine that you are able to prove your Florida Residential address, then you will be eligible for many
Florida Resident Special Offers that occur periodically throughout the year. Additionally, Florida residents are eligible for discounts on Annual Passes. In fact, there are some Annual Passes that are only available to Florida residents.
I hope this information helps you with planning your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. As you continue with your vacation plans, please be sure to come back and ask all of your questions right here at
planDisney.
Have a Magical vacation!
Brenda
