Hi there! My boyfriend and I are very excited for our vacation and have gotten awesome advice from you guys! My concern is about my dietary needs. I am using the Weight Watchers system, will I be able to find places I can enjoy without going over points?

I am the dieting queen, and there are temptations everywhere at Walt Disney World!  But you can absolutely stick to your Weight Watcher points system if you are committed!

The portions at Walt Disney World restaurants are generous, so the one tip I remember from my Weight Watcher days is to split your meal in half.  The sizes of everything you order are going to be at least double what you should have.  If your boyfriend will share a meal with you, this is the best way to watch your diet.  If he is a heartier eater that won't be full after splitting a meal, you could have him order a salad and an appetizer and share the entree with you; or you could order a salad and an appetizer instead of a full meal.

The chefs at Walt Disney World are some of the best anywhere, and they will help you adapt some of the meals to accommodate dietary needs.  If something can be prepared without sauce, without butter, without frying, they will do their best to help you stick to your diet.

I love the Picnic in the Park at Animal Kingdom, and you can opt for healthy sides and desserts by choosing fresh fruits.  There are also sugar free desserts available at many of the restaurants!

When eating counter service, consider options like Cosmic Ray's at the Magic Kingdom, where you can opt for rotisserie chicken over burgers or fried chicken nuggets.  You can even make a meal with a salad and a fruit cup at many counter service locations.

Don't feel like you can't enjoy your meals just because you are being careful about what you eat.  You can still eat your way around the World in a healthy fashion!

    Have a great trip!
