Hi Moms - my boyfriend and I are coming to WDW in Sept and want to go to MNSSHP. are the restaurants open during the party or would you advise having an early dinner outside of the MK before arriving for the party at 7. thanks! x

    Hi Bethany!

I love the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! (MNSSHP) We visit in September every year and we all love meeting the villains, watching the "Boo-to-You" Halloween parade and enjoying HalloWishes, the special Halloween Wishes fireworks show.

There are some quick-service dining locations open during MNSSHP, but not all. When we visited last  year, we found that Casey's Corner, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe and Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe were all open. There are also several snack locations that are open, serving turkey legs, pizzas and pretzels. You can obtain more details on which counter service locations will be open on your night of MNSSHP closer to September.

If you are looking for a table-service meal, I'd recommend eating at the Magic Kingdom prior to the MNSSHP event starting. You can begin booking your reservations 180 days prior to your arrival date. I suggest making your plans for all of your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) now and then calling exactly 180 days prior to your arrival date with your preferred restaurant, time and date laid out to ensure you get the ADRs you want.

Please let me know if you have any other questions that I can help you with! I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
