Hi, my boyfriend and I booked a 7 night western Caribbean cruise that leaves on September 30th. We have just realized we didn't purchase any travel insurance. Is it really necessary? Or are we definitely gonna need it? Thank youu!

    Hi Alyssa,

Travel insurance is always an individual decision. I know I used to purchase travel insurance when my children were little. However, I have not purchased it in a while.

I do have friends in the travel industry who say it is a must. I will also admit that my aunt and uncle where glad they had it for their cruise they had to cancel due to medical reasons.

At this point, it may be too late to purchase it. However, you can call up the travel agency that booked your trip and ask how to add it.

    Wishing you a magical cruise!
