Hi! My boyfriend and I became members back in January, and we are taking our first vacation as members at the end of July. I was wondering if anyone could let me know how to book a dining plan through the member website?

    Hi Jayme!

Congratulations on becoming Disney Vacation Club Members! Let me be one of the first to wish you a very warm, “Welcome Home!”

I love how convenient it is to book my vacation using the DVC Member Website. When you book your stay, it should ask you if you would like to add the Disney Dining Plan. If you do not add it when initially booking, you can easily add it later. This is what I have done in the past. After signing in, go to the My Vacations tab on the top right, then choose Upcoming Vacations. This will open a page and you should see all your information for your upcoming stay. Within that information there should be a link to Add a Dining Plan. Choose this and follow the prompts to add the Disney Dining Plan of your choice!

If you haven’t already, be sure to book Advance Dining Reservations for your stay. Many of the popular locations book quickly. There are many hidden gems though, where you can get an amazing meal and often a last minute reservation. I recommend checking out The Wave at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. I especially loved their crab cakes and beef tenderloin.  Recently, I enjoyed lunch at Spice Road Table in Epcot’s World Showcase where they serve mediterranean cuisine with a beautiful waterfront view.

Good luck adding the Disney Dining Plan to your reservation, and if you are continuing to have difficulty, do know you can add the Disney Dining Plan by calling Member Services at the number on the back of your Membership Card. I hope this information has been helpful, Jayme. Let me know if you have any additional questions as you plan your first Disney Vacation Club stay.

    Wishing you Membership Magic!
