Boy 8, Girl 12 and mom WDW June 11 -20th. Staying at Beach Club for half and Polynesian for half. Any tips on must see near these resorts or getting a good room location?

    Hello Again!

Wow! You have chosen two incredible Walt Disney World Resort hotels to experience in one vacation.

I'll start with your stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort. I am sure it goes without saying, but you absolutely must plan to spend at least one afternoon in the stunning Stormalong Bay Pool! This sand bottomed oasis is one of my favorite places in all of Walt Disney World Resort. You can chose to zoom down the incredible water slide that is so long it crosses a walking path, or you might chose to float the afternoon away in the lazy river. No matter what, this is a can't miss.

Also, I want to encourage you to visit Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Known for their legendary ice cream creation, The Kitchen Sink Sundae, they also have incredible hamburgers and french fries. This is a great stop for a casual, fun meal with fantastic dessert.

Take a stroll around Crescent Lake and explore the shops in Disney's BoardWalk Entertainment District. With nightly live entertainment, game stands, a bakery, and more, this is a great place to check out when you want a break from the crowds.

When you move to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, make sure to stop by Pineapple Lanai for the classic Disney treat, the Dole Whip. While we are talking about food, consider an Advance Dining Reservation at Kona Cafe to delight in Tonga Toast.

Don't skip the nighttime Torch lighting Ceremony. This unique experience just might be the highlight of your day.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
