Ahoy, Patrick!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm thrilled to hEAR your crew will be embarking on a magical voyage with Mickey. Disney Cruise Line designed their staterooms with families in mind with some of the most spacious accommodations at sea. The
Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah offers about 300 square feet for your family to share. It may not seem like a lot with a tween and two teens, but there is
so much to do on a Disney Cruise that your time in the stateroom is really just for sleeping and getting ready. My teen and tween breeze in and out throughout the day, and the stateroom is definitely where they spend the least amount of time!
Now that my kids are older, we love that Disney Cruise Line offers separate sleeping spaces so they don't have to share a bed, and they always sleep so soundly while aboard. In the Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah, your crew will have three comfortable twin-sized spaces to sleep-a convertible sofa bed, a Murphy bed and a pull-down. You'll also love the split bath design with a sink and storage in each bathroom. There is ample storage under the bed for your luggage and a large desk/vanity with drawer space. I always bring a collapsible hamper for the closet, and you can either pack up your dirty clothes as it fills up or visit one of the laundry rooms onboard. The machines charge a nominal fee, and these charges will be placed on your Key the World card along with any detergent purchases.
Another place to escape is your verandah, and you'll also be able to pull the privacy curtain at night to split the two sleeping spaces.
Thank you for sending in your question, Patrick! Please let us know if you think of anything else as you plan.
