I bought two tickets for Magic Kingdom, we won't be able to travel in the next six months. Can we get a refund or keep the tickets available for 2023?

Hi David and welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping in with your planning question about the Walt Disney World Resort!

Please don’t worry about having purchased your theme park tickets so far in advance. You will not lose the amount you paid for your tickets. If your tickets do expire, you can use the amount you paid for those tickets toward the purchase of new tickets, or a Cast Member will give you a new confirmation number to link to your My Disney Experience account so that you will be able to use those tickets in the future.

Keep your confirmation email handy in case you see those tickets disappear from your My Disney Experience account. If/when they do, here’s what you can do to put those tickets back in action.

-Send an email to WDW Guest Services- Ticket Usage at ticket.usage@DisneyWorld.com including:

-Confirmation numbers you received when you purchased the tickets

    -Include your name

-Daytime telephone number where you can be reached

-Where and when the ticket was purchased

    -Purchaser’s name

    -Form of payment used

Explain your situation in the email and within a few days, a Cast Member will get back to you with the next step. They may send a new confirmation number, or they will send you a credit you can use to purchase new theme park tickets.

David, I hope this information is helpful to you. Don’t hesitate to come back to visit us here or at planDisney en Español when you’re ready to plan your next magical visit. It’s always our pleasure to help you with all the details!
