Hi Soumya,
Disney World is such a fun place to spend a day or two while visiting Orlando, Florida. I am sorry to hear that you will only be able to spend one day there instead of your originally planned two days. Unfortunately,
Disney World theme park tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable after they have been purchased. Once you use the first day on your ticket, you will have a limited window of time to use the additional day. The date range you have will have been noted when you made the initial reservation.
If your original visit dates no longer work for you, you do have the ability to change your selected visit dates. Simply log in to your
My Disney Experience account and select "Theme Park Reservations." Then navigate to "Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations." Here you can "Modify Reservation" and choose a new visit date that works better for you. Keep in mind that date-based tickets are priced based on the season and demand during your visit. If you change to a higher-demand date, there may be an additional fee added for the date change. You will have to pay this additional fee before your dates are updated.
If you have additional questions or concerns regarding this policy, contacting Disney's
Existing Ticket team is the best course of action. They will be able to help you make any needed changes to your tickets and your theme park reservations if you are having trouble doing it yourself in your My Disney Experience account. They are the only ones able to modify your tickets if it is possible.
If you are only planning to visit for one day, I would focus my time on visiting
Disney's Magic Kingdom. This is the iconic original Disney World theme park with all of your favorite classic attractions like Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Space Mountain.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
