I bought tickets/made reservations but 1 person can no longer go b/c of his brother's memorial service. I know reservations are non-transferable, are tickets assigned to a person? Can I cancel the res, reassign a ticket, and make a new res?

Welcome to planDisney, Elyse! I'm so happy to know you have a magical vacation to the Disneyland Resort planned for next month! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

I'm sorry to hear that your friend is unable to join you. You do have a few options. There are two ways you can change the name on your theme park tickets. You can always call Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636 before your visit to change that name or, when you arrive at the turnstiles to enter the park, the Cast Member will take pictures of everyone in your party and assign a ticket to each of you.

You can cancel your theme park reservation and make a new one, but I suggest keeping it if you have another person who will be using that ticket. As long as that unused ticket has a theme park reservation attached to it, it doesn't matter too much who it is assigned to before it is used, because it will be assigned to whoever ends up with it at the park entrance.

Elyse, I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. It’s our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next magical vacation!
