Cheers, Stephanie!
Sounds like you've got a superstar athlete on hand if they're headed to
ESPN to compete! As the mama of athletes, I can't tell you how many "spectator" tickets I've bought, so I'm happy to help with your question.
The
Varsity Spirit College Cheer and Dance Team National Championship is fantastic! Prestigious teams from all over the country gather at Walt Disney World to compete for the national title, and wonderful family and friends come to support! I checked the Varsity website and verified that Disney limits each competition to 200 spectators. Since you have general admission tickets, you can attend any competitions at the event (and you can bring snacks!). Still, get to your priority events early, as seating is limited.
Complimentary parking is available at the complex, and
disability parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If the lot is full, you'll be directed to additional areas to park. Did you know you can use the
car locator service on the
My Disney Experience app to find your car at the end of the day? Perfect for when you forget to take a pic of your spot!
Best of luck to your athletes; I'm sure they will shine bright. Dance, cheer, and sports competitions make up almost half the year at the 'World, so Minnie & Co are adept at making your stay sportstastic. But you know where to find us if you have any other questions. Spirit fingers!
