Welcome, Tatiana! I hope you and your grandparents are excited to be at the Happiest Place on Earth soon!
When I went to Disneyland Resort for the first time with my father, he struggled with walking for long periods, even though he was fully mobile. But luckily for us, Disneyland Resort does have the option for Guests to
rent either a manual wheelchair or Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV). It was an excellent option for my family; my father could maneuver throughout the park for the entire day and never felt overly exerted. If your grandparents feel mobile support such as a manual wheelchair or ECV would help them explore the resort more fully, Guests may
rent one at the Disneyland Resort main gate. Just be mindful that wheelchairs and ECVs are first-come, first-served.
Another option you may consider is speaking with a Cast Member. The 2-day theme park ticket you purchased for your grandparents cannot be split into two 1-day tickets; however, I recommend
calling Ticket Services to see if the tickets may be applied toward the purchase of new tickets of a different type.
And while you are at Disneyland Resort with your family, do not forget to carve out some time to relax. A lovely, delicious, and relaxing dinner always helps me recharge after a jam-packed day in the parks. Some great places to consider include the
Wine Country Trattoria, the
Napa Rose, and
Cafe Orleans.
Good luck packing and have a magical time!
Enjoy,
Lola
