Hi Farrah! Welcome to planDisney!
I can't believe your arrival day is today! You must be getting so excited about heading to
The Most Magical Place on Earth, though I bet you're also a little nervous about grabbing those last-minute Theme Park Reservations! It is true that right now all Guests over the age of three need both a valid
Theme Park Ticket as well as a
Theme Park Reservation to enter their first Park of the day. Let's see what we can do about today's visit for you!
I've just taken a few moments to check out the
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Reservation availability calendar and to me, it looks like Magic Kingdom is currently full for today, October 5th. This could literally change
any minute as more Guests modify their plans for today. You're welcome to continue checking the availability calendar in case anything opens up!
To make your Theme Park Reservations for Magic Kingdom open your My Disney Experience Mobile app and click the center "plus sign" icon. Choose "Make or Modify Park Reservations" to
sign in to your account and then click "Book Park Reservation". Choose the members of your party traveling with you if they're already in your My Disney Experience account or link your Theme Park Tickets with your Will Call confirmation number or Ticket ID. Click "Continue" and scroll down to select your chosen Park! I sincerely hope you're able to jump on and grab those reservations for Magic Kingdom!
If for some reason, you're unable to get a Theme Park Reservation for
Magic Kingdom, you're always welcome to add the
Park Hopper Option on to your Standard Theme Park Ticket. This would allow you and your party to make Theme Park Reservations and visit a different (but also amazing) Theme Park, such as EPCOT in the morning, and then still be able to "hop" to Magic Kingdom anytime after 2 p.m. Currently, Theme Park Reservations are only required for the first Park you will scan into each day.
Good Luck, Farrah! Sending you lots of pixie dust!
