Hi there, Kerry! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
I bet you're getting so excited about your upcoming trip to
Walt Disney World Resort! Visiting in the fall is a perfect time of year because you tend to get beautiful weather, see lower crowds and there are extra special offerings like the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and, obviously,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! I love, love, love attending these parties because of the limited number of tickets that are sold, making you feel like the Park is all yours! Last year, at an After Hours event, we didn't even stay until closing and we still got pictures walking down an empty Main Street U.S.A. It was completely magical!
I see that you mention needing to change the night of your previously purchased Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Park Tickets. First of all, hooray for getting them! I always get really excited when I know I've locked down tickets that so many people are anxious for! Unlike
Theme Park Tickets or
Theme Park Reservations, where you can easily switch your dates right in your
My Disney Experience account,
tickets for Special Events, such as Mickey Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are nontransferable, nonrefundable, and valid only for the event date and hours they were purchased for.
Since you've been trying to get in touch with a Cast Member on the phone, I would also suggest trying the
"Chat" feature on the Walt Disney World Resort website or even emailing the
Help Center with your predicament. While I'm not sure there is any way to change your dates you're welcome to speak with a Cast Member and ask. I would have your confirmation number from your previous purchase handy in case Cast Members need it to pull up your specific reservation.
I do see that you're arriving a few days before your current Halloween Party ticket date, so I would also suggest double-checking or moving some other plans around to try to squeeze in the Party on the day you have already purchased tickets for. You definitely don't want to miss out on
Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade or the
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular! I hope you're able to make it all work!
I trust that however your vacation turns out it will be a spooktacular one!
