I bought tickets last year that have expired. What's the easiest way to find out if they're still good and if so, do I have to pay additional money to use them since the price went up?

Hi Aaron!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Oh my gosh, your Walt Disney World visit begins today!!! I'll be happy to help you with your ticket question.

Whether your expired tickets may still be valid will depend on what type of tickets they are.  In some cases, the value of a completely unused expired ticket may be applied to the cost of purchasing a new ticket.  A multi-day ticket that was partially used will no longer be valid.  You can bring your ticket to a theme park ticket window or Guest Relations location to inquire about the validity of your ticket.  A great place to go for ticket related questions is the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.  If you have the original confirmation number from your ticket order, you might try calling the Existing Tickets helpline at 407-566-4985, or you may try sending photos of the front and back of the ticket along with purchase information to ticket.usage@disneyworld.com.

I hope that helps!  Please let us know if you have any additional questions.  Enjoy your visit!
