Welcome to planDisney, Jim!
Oh, a three-generation visit to
Walt Disney World is such a magical trip! Well done!
Regarding assigning your
theme park tickets to the correct person, first be sure that everyone is set up in
My Disney Experience. Once that is completed, you'll be able to add each other onto your Family & Friends List. If you all select the option that enables you to plan for each other, you'll then be able to assign those tickets you purchased to each person in the group.
I like to assign my family members' tickets through the
My Disney Experience Mobile app. There, just click on the hamburger icon on the bottom right of the screen. Next, you'll see My Tickets & Passes on the top left. Click on that and you'll see the tickets you have added to your MDE account. Don't see them? Click on the + sign in the top right corner, and you'll be prompted to Link Tickets & Passes. Easy peasy!
Jim, because you are about to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth with these three generations at this exact moment in life, I highly recommend that you purchase
Memory Maker. This lets you capture all of the magical memories you are about to create--and the pics are included in one pre-paid price. There is an Advance Purchase discount for those who order at least 3 days prior to arrival, so you might just make it in for the added savings, too. Those
Disney PhotoPass photographers are so talented, plus they can add features such as Magic Shots and 360-degree captures that you just can't get without them. Stop for those iconic photos in each park. Download those soon-to-be favorites of someone screaming as they drop down that 50' fall in
Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Stop for that photo op with everyone's favorite princess. You will be so glad that you did.
Jim, as you put the finishing touches on your upcoming visit, please send additional questions our way. We love to help!
