Hi Karina,
Thanks for stopping by with a question for us! I'm so sorry to hear that one of the members of your travel party was unable to make the trip but I'm hoping he's on his way to feeling better very soon.
Theme park tickets are non-refundable but guests are typically able to modify their visit to a later date, as you've done. I'm not sure how long your original visit was but
1-day tickets usually have an expiration date more than a year in advance, while multi-day tickets are valid for an even longer period as long as they haven't been used. If you are concerned about the tickets expiring before your friend is well enough to visit have no fear! The value of wholly unused tickets remains even if the tickets are expired. Although your friend might not be able to schedule a visit in the near future, he can apply the value paid to a new ticket purchase as long as the new tickets are of equal or greater value. I'd recommend hanging on to them and planning another trip when he's feeling up for a magical vacation. There is
much to look forward to in 2024, and even more fun awaits guests in the years to come, I'm sure!
I understand that sometimes special circumstances arise and situations aren't always black and white. If you have additional concerns you are welcome to
reach out to a Cast Member with the ticketing team at (714) 781-4636 to discuss your particular situation. I can't guarantee they will be able to offer any additional assistance, but it's certainly worth a call to review all the available options.
Karina, if we can answer more questions please don't hesitate to come back and let us know. I'm wishing you a magical holiday season and a happy and healthy New Year!
Magic and memories,
Amy
