Hi!! We are excited to travel next week to meet Mickey at Disneyland Park. We are proud owners of the Magic Band +. But How can I be sure that my husband (who has his own account at the Disneyland App) and my account are linked? For reservations porpouse

Hello, Diana. Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I'm so excited that you'll be visiting The Happiest Place on Earth in just a few short days, so let's get you set up for a most magical day.

First, let's make sure that you've got your Magic Band+ linked to your account! You will want to log into your Disney Account in the Disneyland Mobile App. From there, click the “hamburger” icon (☰) at the bottom right of the home screen and then tap on MagicBand+. Once you do this, you should see any registered MagicBands listed below. If you don't see any, you can link them by clicking the blue plus sign at the top of the screen. Please note that if you have previously linked a MagicBand+ to your My Disney Experience mobile app for Walt Disney World, you will still need to link it to your Disneyland Mobile App. You can use the same MagicBand+ for both resorts though!

After you have done that, you can also add your husband's ticket to your account by scanning either his MagicBand+ or ticket barcode into your app. So you will want to, select the “hamburger” icon (☰) on the home screen and then select "Tickets and Passes." You should see any current admission tickets here. If your husband's is not listed, select the blue plus sign in the upper right corner and choose "Link Tickets & Passes." From here, scan his ticket barcode (from his app) or his MagicBand+ to add him. Once you've done this and you see both of your tickets, your accounts will be linked. This will come in handy for any Disney PhotoPass pictures that you take and for choosing your party for Lighting Lane selections!

Diana, I hope you'll be able to check out the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival during your visit. It is serving up delicious food and treats from now until April 22. The Snickers Mickey Macaron is a must-try!

Diana, thank you again for stopping by. Please visit us again with any other planning questions that you may have!

    Have a magical visit,
    Melissa
