I bought tickets for my friend in 2019 and we couldn't go because of Covid. Now they are expired. Can I get them extended and put them in her name?

Hi Melissa and welcome to planDisney!

I have some good news! The Disneyland Resort has extended expiration dates for their theme park tickets. Non-promotional single-day tickets that expire on March 31, 2021, will have the expiration date extended to December 16, 2021. Wholly unused, non-promotional multi-day tickets that expire on January 12, 2021, or April 13, 2021, will have the expiration date extended to December 16, 2021. It’s also important to note, the ticket will expire 13 days after first use or on December 16, 2021, whichever happens first.

Link your friend's ticket back to your Disney account (or to her Disney account) to see if it has been extended. If the ticket has not been extended or you can’t make it to the Disneyland Resort to visit before the expiration, no worries! You can still use the amount you paid for the ticket, toward the purchase of a new theme park ticket.

Melissa, if you have any issues, you can always call (714) 781-4636 to speak to a Cast Member on the Ticket Services team. They will be happy to help you!

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any other planning questions, you can always come back to see us!

    Have a magical visit!
