    Hi, we bought tickets for our family of 6 people, due to the Covid issue we could not travel, we bought for January 17 until when I can change the date, I still do not have a defined date

    Welcome to planDisney, Carla! I’m so sorry to hear that you need to change your travel dates. Please don’t worry, those tickets you have purchased can still be put to good use during your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. 

    To see if you can modify your dates, log on to your My Disney Experience account. Go to “My Plans” to see the tickets linked to your account. If you have the option to “modify” your ticket online, you will see the word in blue. In that case you can click on it to modify the date, to change it to your desired date. 

    It’s important to remember, if the price for the day you want to visit is lower than the price for the ticket you already purchased, you will not receive a credit or refund for that amount. If the price of the ticket for the day you would like to visit is higher, you would have to pay the difference. 

    If you can’t change your dates or your tickets disappear from your My Disney Experience account, I have found a way to get them back!

    Send an email to WDW Guest Services- Ticket Usage at ticket.usage@DisneyWorld.com including the following items:

    -Make sure to include a copy of the front and back of your tickets (if you don’t have a hard copy of your tickets, include the confirmation numbers you received in an email when you purchased the tickets.)

    -Include your name

    -Daytime telephone number where you can be reached

    -Where and when the ticket was purchased

    -Purchaser’s name

    -Form of payment used 

    Explain your situation in the email and within a few days, a Cast Member will reach out to you. Disney will send you a new confirmation number. Just link that number to your My Disney Experience account and you can start planning your next visit!
