We bought 4 tickets for family of 4 to Magic Kingdom. 2 of the guests will not be able to attend. Can we use the 2 tickets for a different park on a different day?

    Hi, Diana!

Happy New Year, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like 2022 is sure to be a magical yEAR for you since you have an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation planned during the 50th Anniversary Celebration. Magic Kingdom Park is full of adventure, fantasy and memories waiting to be made. Did you know there are four themed lands in Magic Kingdom Park, each with its own unique sights, sounds, smells and even dining options? In Adventureland, you'll be transported to lush, tropical jungles on Jungle Cruise or sail in search of Captain Jack Sparrow on Pirates of the Caribbean. In Tomorrowland, you can help Buzz Lightyear battle Evil Emperor Zurg on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin or blast through the galaxy on Space Mountain. Plus, you can end your night by viewing shimmering fireworks in the all-new nighttime spectacular, Disney Enchantment, on Main Street, U.S.A. It's my favorite Walt Disney World Resort theme park, so I'm excited to hear you're planning on making it a part of your magical vacation too.

I'm sorry to hear your family members won't be able to join you on your adventures. While I know that's likely an unexpected hiccup, the good news is that yes, you can reassign their tickets for another individual and theme park on a different day as long as you do so prior to the original start date of the ticket. To do so, simply access your My Disney Experience account on a web browser, and navigate to "My Plans." Scroll down until you see the section titled "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" and click where it says "Tickets & Memory Maker." Here, you should see all tickets currently assigned to individuals you have upcoming plans with, also known as members of your Planning Party, and the option to reassign each ticket. In the My Disney Experience Mobile App, access the menu and click on "Tickets and Passes." There should be a link that says "Reassign Ticket" underneath each individual's ticket that allows you to modify it. If you need further assistance reassigning these tickets, call 407-934-7639.

If you plan on reassigning these tickets for yourself, might I suggest you consider using them for a day at EPCOT? It offers a unique experience unlike any other theme park on property. As you finalize the details of your magical vacation, please stop by planDisney again with any further questions that arise. See ya real soon!
