Hi, I just bought tickets for 3 days in late September, it’s my husband, my 6 yo, and me, which rides do you recommend and in what order?

    ¡Bienvenida a planDisney, Sandra!

Thank you for stopping by with your question, I am happy to help! Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is in a few weeks, and I hope you all are ready for a vacation filled with magic, fun, and excitement! One thing that I love about Walt Disney World is the abundance of attractions that are perfect for Mouseketeers of younger ages. I suggest looking at this list first to see what attractions fit your needs.

Disney's Magic Kingdom Park is going to the park that has the most attractions for little ones. A lot of attractions (such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Tiana's Bayou Adventure) have height requirements, so that will determine primarily what your child can ride. When my daughter was six years old, she rode almost every attraction except for Tiana's Bayou Adventure, and the coasters (except for Mine Train and The Barnstormer).

Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the two attractions that may not be suitable include Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Slinky Dog Dash in Toy Story Land doesn't have any loops, and it's a pretty tame coaster for kids that age. At EPCOT, I would avoid Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, Expedition Everest-Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, and Avatar Flight of Passage if your child gets carsick easily.

The best way to experience as many attractions as you can during your visit is to purchase Lightning Lane Passes when you arrive at Walt Disney World. With Lightning Lane, you bypass the Standby queue and have a smaller wait time for attractions. You can book up to three experiences per day. Once you redeem your first Lighting Lane, you can book another using the My Disney Experience mobile app. If you have Park Hopper tickets, purchase the Multi Pass, and if you and your husband want to experience popular attractions like Guardians, purchase a Single Pass.

Sandra, I hope all of this information was helpful! Thank you again for visiting planDisney, and I hope you have a wonderful visit!

    Magic Awaits!
