Hi, Yessica! Welcome to planDisney!
I fully understand. On more than one occasion, we have scheduled a family vacation to the Disneyland Resort to occur before a child’s birthday. It’s one of the
means we have used to help budget on our visits. After all, the more we save, the sooner we can return for our next visit!
I hope you get a chance to visit the Disneyland Resort before your daughter’s birthday. Should the theme parks open after your daughter turns three years old, she will need a theme park ticket as well. As you may know, during the initial
phases of the reopening of the Disneyland Resort, new ticket sales are temporarily suspended. After the theme parks reopen and visitation levels become clear, I would expect ticket sales to gradually resume.
Due to special circumstances, some ticket types have been
granted extensions of their original expiration dates. If your particular tickets fall into that category, it may help to give you additional time should you need to delay your visit a while before another ticket can be purchased. Also, most regular tickets retain the value of their original purchase price even after their expiration. The
value of an expired regular theme park ticket can be applied toward the purchase price of a new ticket. I hope you won’t need to make use of some of these built-in options for flexibility. But I’m glad they are there, in case you need them.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Yessica. If you have any more questions regarding your plans to visit the Disneyland Resort, I hope you will come to visit us again soon.
