Im trying to plan my family's 1st every Disney trip... but on a budget. Which is cheaper but still a lot of fun between Disneyworld, Disneyland, Disney Cruise or a Land and Sea trip?

    Hiya, Kelli!

Honestly, I wonder if my fellow panelist, Bryan, may have already convinced you that a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is the thing for you. Still, I would like to share with you my family's experiences with Disney Parks.

First and foremost, the Disneyland Resort is our first Disney Parks love. We have enjoyed nearly three dozen family trips to "Walt Disney's Original Magic Kingdom." The history, patriotism, storytelling, and family-centered fun make it a worthwhile destination for our family.

Tony's Tips: To save money on our trips to the Disneyland Resort, our family of six usually travels by automobile. Fortunately, the 10-hour drive from our home in Utah to our "Laughing Place" keeps getting easier and easier. Another way we save on our Disneyland Resort vacations is by collecting Disney Gift Cards. We purchase these handy gift cards at a discount from our local Target which happens to be one of the first to host a Disney Store inside. It's so nice to be able to find a little piece of Disney magic so close to home! When we have enough Disney Gift Cards, it's time to hit the road for a vacation of fantasy and adventure.

Our family has also found tremendous value in vacationing aboard the Disney Cruise Line. What makes this form of travel so amazing is that it is nearly all-inclusive. There is no need to worry about separate hotel, dining, and entertainment budgets. Everything is right there on a Disney Cruise Line sailing. Our first Disney Cruise was a magical sailing to Alaska aboard the Disney Wonder. We thought we weren't a cruise family. So we had planned on that being our first and last cruise ever. However, The Disney Wonder has become our second home, as we have since sailed aboard it three more times. We even have plans for two more Disney Cruises soon aboard the Disney Magic and the Disney Dream.

Oh, Kelli! This can be a hard decision to make. And to make it even harder, I'll toss out another option. Our family has enjoyed two epic land and sea adventures that included visits to the Disneyland Resort followed by a Disney Cruise Line Mexican Cruise out of San Diego, California. You'd be surprised at how affordable a two-, three-, or four-night Baja cruise from San Diego can be. Combined with two or three days at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, it's a Disney vacation dream come true!

Good luck with making your decision, Kelli. If you need any more advice, please don't hesitate to come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
