Hi Jennifer,
I hope you are jumping up and down from excitement about your upcoming trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth! Whenever I have a big vacation planned—especially a Disney vacation—I like to add a little countdown clock on my computer desktop to remind me how many days, minutes, and seconds until I leave.
Concerning your tickets, I have some bad news and some good news. The bad news is that Disneyland Resort theme park tickets are
non-refundable. The good news is that canceling the reservation for your first ticket does not cancel the ticket, and you can use that ticket for a future trip. If you purchased the ticket recently, the expiration date would likely be December 30, 2023, for a one-day ticket or January 12, 2024, for a multi-day ticket (however, I encourage you to verify the expiration date on your own). And even after the ticket expires, you can still use the ticket toward purchasing a new one.
Maybe you can even plan to visit using your second ticket after the re-theming of
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. Disney recently announced that the beachy hotel will now be
themed after some beloved Pixar characters. The concept art looks Incredible!
Best wishes,
Lola
