We bought our tickets from get away today. We are having trouble linking the e tickets to the app. We did print them out. Will that work at the gate if we have the paper tickets. How do we make our reservation?

    Greetings to you, James!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question! We're happy to see you here and I'm excited for your upcoming Holiday Season visit to the Disneyland Resort! Since it's coming up fairly soon, I want to make sure everything is in order before you go.

All Park guests will need to have a valid Theme Park Ticket and a reservation for the day of their visit. Since you purchased your tickets from a third party vendor, you will need to make reservations on your own. This is extremely important because you won't be allowed into the Parks without a reservation! At the time of this writing, there are open reservations for your date when I check the calendar

First, you'll need to link your tickets to your Disneyland account. Look for an email titled "Get Away Today Vacation Itinerary" as a PDF attachment or examine your printed tickets. There will be a 19 digit ticket number in the top right corner of the PDF/ticket underneath the bar code. This is what you need to enter in order to link it to your account. You'll need to repeat this process for each ticket you've purchased. You may link your tickets by going to the Disneyland website, pull down the menu under "My Disneyland" and select "Link Tickets."

Once your tickets are linked, make your way to Ticket and Reservation Details and click on "Make or Modify Park Reservations" to secure your reservations for each day of your visit. Be sure you make a reservation for each day and each member of your party.

I hope you are ready for some Holiday merriment, James, because Cast Members really go all out to decorate for the season! One of the most popular food items you'll find is the Mickey shaped Gingerbread Cookie and I would definitely recommend trying one if you happen to come across it. Take a look at the Foodie Guide to help you plan out your gastronomic adventures! And don't forget to take a ride on "it's a small world" Holiday at night, when you can admire the thousands of shimmering lights used to decorate this overlay!

James, I hope that this was helpful for you and that you are able to link your tickets and get your reservations. Please write back if you need any further help because you'll want to have both items in order before your visit. You're always welcome at planDisney and we'll see ya real soon!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
