We bought a ticket for Florida residents, but my ID has expired. I will update my ID, but I don't know if it will be in time. All my bills are in my husband's name. Will proof of marriage with my husband be proof of a Florida resident?

Welcome to planDisney, Emi! I’m happy to know that in just a couple of weeks, you will be enjoying a vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!

There are a few forms of identification that you can use as Proof of Florida Residency. On one visit, my husband forgot his wallet at our hotel when we went to activate our tickets. I was able to use our automobile insurance ID card as his proof, because his name and mine were printed on it. You can also use your passport as proof.

Emi, take a look at the list of acceptable forms of ID. I didn't see a marriage license as an acceptable ID, but you may find that you have at least one of the items on that list at home.

To activate your tickets, visit the ticket window at any of the four theme parks or the Guest Services location at Disney Springs

Before your visit, you will need to make a Disney Park Pass Reservation for each person in your travel party, via your My Disney Experience account. You can complete this step with a theme park ticket for a Florida Resident that has not been activated yet.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. Helping you with all the details of your next magical visit is our pleasure!
