Greetings, Sarah!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy to see you here. I'm sorry to hear that Stitch might be up to his tricks again. I'll try my best to help you with your MagicBand issue, so let's see if we can't
troubleshoot a little bit.
At this time, only
MagicBand+ is supported at the Disneyland Resort, so make sure this is the version that you've purchased and that the device is charged. Double check to make sure that you've downloaded the most current version of the
Disneyland Mobile App (not My Disney Experience, which is exclusive to Walt Disney World).
A MagicBand+ can only be linked to one ticket or pass at a time. Perhaps it was inadvertently assigned to an unintended ticket? If you aren't able to see them at all in your account, you could perform a factory reset. Press the button on the back once, then quickly follow with a second press that you hold for 15 seconds. You will feel it buzz three times and glow with rainbow colors. After it flashes green again, it will have been reset and you can try following the
Linking instructions again. I have even heard of some people having to go as far as restarting their phone or deleting and reinstalling the Disneyland Mobile App.
I hope that you're able to get your MagicBand+ working properly, Sarah! I really find them very
convenient when I'm at the Parks. And the wonderful news is that you'll be able to use them at Walt Disney World! In fact, the Disney Parks Blog recently announced that they'll begin using them on
Disney Cruise Line as well! I love this integration of technology and convenience.
Sarah, if there is anything else that we can do for you, please feel free to visit again! I hope that you have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious day and thanks again for stopping by!
We'll See Ya Real Soon!
