I would personally book a
Lightning Lane Single Pass for
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train for your son, then try to modify the return time for your current Lightning Lane Single Passes for the rest of your family to overlap with your son’s return time (pending availability).
To modify your Lightning Lane, click the 3 lines in the bottom right corner of your
My Disney Experience app, click Lightning Lane passes, then scroll down to find your Lightning Lane Single Pass. Click on that pass, then click Modify Plan and follow the prompts.
As you’re going through the prompts, you can click on the time it initially gives you, then click Modify to see all of the available times. It will not change your return time until you confirm and save it, so no need to worry that it will change it to something that you don’t want just by looking at your options!
You can try to modify your Lightning Lanes at any time leading up to your trip and on your park day, pending availability. If you’re having trouble trying to get similar return times, you could speak with a Cast Member on the
Guest Experience Team (look for a blue umbrella around the park or visit the
Guest Relations location that is usually located near the entrance to the park). While I can't guarantee that they'd be able to change your return times, it would still be worth seeing if they’d be able to assist you.
