I bought Fl Res tickets for my family; tickets were non-expiring. We still have 1 day left. My friend told me that WDW changed policy for Fl resident and told met that I cannot used my tickets this year if it during the blocked out dates. is this true?

Hi, Bay!  Certain types of Florida Resident passes have always had a blackout date.  Whether or not your tickets have blackout dates depends on what type of passes you have.

If you've purchased just regular tickets with a Florida resident discount, then you won't have to worry about blackout dates at all.  The blackout dates apply to the 3 or 4 day special Florida resident passes and the Florida resident seasonal pass.  Those have always had blackout dates, and there hasn't been a policy change regarding that.

You may want to look at some more information, which you can do by clicking Florida resident ticket options.  Determine which type of pass you've purchased, and you'll know if there are blackout dates that apply.

    I hope this helps!
