I recently bought 5 military salute tickets at a local military base. After purchasing those tickets, my sister decided she was interested in going on this trip. Can I still buy her a military salute ticket or is it too late?

    Hi Tyler,

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your service! Disney World has some special discounts available to current and retired U.S. military members at Walt Disney World. Through the Disney Military Salute Tickets, eligible service members and their spouses can enjoy significant savings on park tickets. These tickets allow you to purchase up to six discounted admissions, which you can use for family and friends traveling with you — as long as you're one of the six, you’re all set! Since you only purchased 5 initially, you should be able to go back and buy the 6th one without any issues.

Please note that these tickets aren’t available for online purchase. To take advantage of this offer, you'll need to visit a participating U.S. military sales outlet and present proof of eligibility as an active or retired service member. Many of these locations offer additional discounts beyond the listed price, so it’s worth stopping by to get the best deal!

In addition to discounted tickets, you can also add Memory Maker to your trip at a special military rate. I highly recommend Memory Maker! It allows your whole party to be included in photos, with a talented Disney PhotoPass Photographer capturing memories in front of some of the park’s most iconic spots. These photos are some of my favorite keepsakes from Disney trips. To add Memory Maker to your visit, simply stop by one of the theme park ticket windows with your U.S. Military ID. The great part? Only one member of your party needs to purchase it, and once you're all connected as "Family and Friends" in the My Disney Experience app, you can download all the photos taken throughout your trip.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
