i bought a one day park hopper but want to upgrade to a 2 day ticket

Hi Juanita! Welcome to planDisney! It looks like your visit to the Disneyland Resort is right around the corner. Let’s check those final boxes so you’re prepared to have a magical visit!

With so much to see, do, and taste at the Disneyland Resort, I completely understand why you’d want to extend your visit. The great news is that upgrading your ticket from a one-day Park Hopper to a two-day Park Hopper is as simple as saying, “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!” You can visit the Disneyland website, select your linked tickets, and make modifications there. Alternatively, open the Disneyland App, tap the menu button (the three-line icon in the bottom right), and select “My Tickets & Passes.” From there, choose the ticket you’d like to upgrade and make your changes. Just don’t forget to make park reservations for your second day. After all, even Cinderella needs her plans in place for the ball! If you run into any hiccups, a friendly Cast Member will be more than happy to assist you.

By the way, Juanita, I noticed your visit aligns with the Lunar New Year Celebration at Disney California Adventure Park! I recently attended the festival myself and had an incredible time. Here are a couple of “Q-Tips” to help you make the most of the celebration. First, be sure to grab a Sip and Savor Pass. It’s a great way to try multiple dishes from the festival food booths while saving a little extra pixie dust. My top picks? The quesabirria eggroll and the strawberry milk tea macaron. Trust me, they’re as delightful as they sound, especially when paired with a tiger milk tea.

My second recommendation is to carve out time to watch Mulan’s Lunar New Year Processional. It’s a vibrant celebration featuring traditional dancers, musicians, and, of course, some familiar Disney friends! I watched all four performances during my visit, but the 5:30 pm show across from the entrance to Avengers Campus was particularly enchanting. No matter where you watch, you’ll be swept up in the magic of the Year of the Snake.

Juanita, I hope these tips help you have an unforgettable time at the Disneyland Resort. If you have more questions or need additional recommendations, you’re always welcome to visit us here at planDisney again!

    Enjoy your trip!
