Greetings to you, Eric, thanks for stopping by planDisney!
I’m so glad you found us. It sounds like you heard the news:
Disneyland Resort will resume
Magic Key pass sales on November 6. This means that if you have an eligible theme park ticket, you may be able to upgrade to an available Magic Key pass.
If you purchased all the tickets on your
MyDisney account, which remain linked and wholly unused, once the pass sales open, you can upgrade from your
Disneyland app if the tickets are eligible. Note that any reservations you had with your ticket will be removed, so be sure that the dates you hope for are available in the tier you upgrade to. However, if the tickets are linked to each person’s MyDisney account, they must upgrade from their Disneyland app. Upgrades can also be done at a ticket booth in the esplanade in person.
Once you’re ready, you’ll wanna be as quick as Lightning McQueen on a race track because they do tend to sell out. I recommend entering the queue at 8:45 am PT as the sales will begin no sooner than 9 am PT. Check out the
Magic Key Buying Guide for more information on upgrading tickets and purchasing new passes.
With so much magic happening at the parks in the next year, and with
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort coming in just a few weeks, you don’t want to miss out on the fun! Well, I hope you’re able to grab your upgrades and are set for a year of magic! If you have any other Magic Key pass questions, feel free to
send us another message!
Adventure awaits!
Camille
