Welcome to planDisney! We're excited to hear you are planning to visit Walt Disney World Resort, Kyle!
Once upon a time, I used to embarrass my kids by walking up to strangers and asking them to take our photos. Now I just add
Memory Maker before every trip.
PhotoPass photographers are ready and more than willing to take all your photos. They are stationed at icons across all four parks, including the Tree of Life, Cinderella Castle, the Millennium Falcon, and more. I get lots of eye rolls from my three teenage boys every time I make them stop, but the memories that are downloaded to my camera roll make it worth it!
When pre-purchasing Memory Maker in advance of your trip, one thing to note is that any photos taken within three days of purchase will not be included in your Memory Maker purchase. If you're already within those four days and want all of your pictures included, you will have to choose the "starts immediately" option, which costs a little more; I have a feeling that this is the one you purchased, which is why you are seeing that message in your confirmation. I recommend calling
Disney PhotoPass customer service at (407) 560-4300. The wait times can be long, so call early in the day and pack your patience. While Memory Maker is non-refundable, I'm hopeful the Cast Members can assist you.
Here's another tip, Kyle. Sometimes, I'll walk by an innocuous-looking wall with guests queuing up in front of a photographer. It might seem strange, but it's likely a sign that this is a Magic Shot location. It's always a fun surprise seeing what pops up in your photos after they've been downloaded to your
My Disney Experience app!
Have fun capturing those magical memories this October, Kyle! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us!
