Hi. Bought magic bands for previous trip. More recently bought Walt Disney World Park Pass for another trip (Nov 2023) and have a confirmation number. How do I check if my Park Pass is linked to my magic band?

    Hi Tina! Welcome to planDisney.

Oh Boy! The countdown is on to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. There is so much holiday cheer to enjoy. Let's make sure your theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account so you are ready to make park reservations (if needed) and advance dining reservations. I like to do these tasks in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Grab your smartphone and let's get to work.

Open the app, click on the three horizontal lines at the bottom right-hand corner, and select "Tickets and Passes." If you do not see your theme park ticket, tap the "+" sign at the top right-hand corner, followed by "Link Tickets & Passes." The next screen will give three options to link. In your case, tap "Type ID" and enter your confirmation number in the "ID Number" box. Now, your new ticket is ready to use.

You can use any active MagicBand or ticket card from previous trips. To check the status of your MagicBand, click on the "MagicBands and More" tab. Click on your name and scroll through your bands to verify they are set to "active." Bibbibbi-Bobbiddi-Boo! You are all set.

My bonus suggestion is to create a Disney MagicMobile Digital Pass and save it to your Apple Watch, Apple Wallet, or digital wallet. Tap on the "Disney MagicMobile" tab and follow the directions. Your smart device can now be your ticket, open your hotel door, and connect to Disney PhotoPass services.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
