We bought magic bands for 4 grandsons for an Aug 19 trip to WDW. One is under 3 and doesn’t need a ticket. We also purchased a Memory Maker Card to capture photos of our family of 11. How do we link his MB to the MM features if he doesn’t need a ticket?

    Hi Michael,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question.

You must be so excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I love collecting all the photos of my trips to the Walt Disney World Resort over the years; the PhotoPass photographers located throughout the parks make it so easy to ensure that everyone can get in on the fun. Special Magic Shots (ask for them by name) add a little more excitement to the moment, as you wonder who will appear in the picture with you? Tinkerbell? Olaf? Maybe a huge bunch of balloons?

Your littlest grandson will be so excited to be like the big boys with his new MagicBand! Since he doesn't require a ticket (you already know that guests under 3 are Mickey's special guests and are allowed to enter free of charge), you don't have to worry about linking him in Memory Maker. You will want to ensure that all members of your party are in your Friends and Family list in My Disney Experience to share all these wonderful photos of your trip.

Michael, did you know that Disney's PhotoPass Service has a studio located in Disney Springs? If you wanted photos in a studio-type setting, they are included with your Memory Maker package and are free of charge.

Please come back and visit us again with all of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
