Hi Jaime,
Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for being part of the Passholder family! Your kids are so lucky to have Walt Disney World
Annual Passes—it’s like getting a golden ticket from Mickey Mouse himself!
When it comes to activating their passes, here’s the scoop:
• Activation happens at the first park entry. The first time your kids enter a theme park using their Annual Passes, the passes will be activated, starting their 365-day countdown.
• Minors won’t need an ID. If your kids are under 18, they can activate their passes without showing identification. However, if they’re 18 or older, they’ll need a government-issued photo ID (like a driver’s license or passport).
• What if you purchased Sorcerer Passes? If their passes are
Disney Sorcerer Passes, the adult who purchased them (that’s you!) will need to present an ID and proof of Disney Vacation Club membership at activation. Unfortunately, this can’t be skipped. If you have questions about the Sorcerer Pass or your family’s specific situation, the
Annual Passholder Support line is always a great resource!
• Where to activate: Passes can be activated at Guest Relations outside any of the four theme parks or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Once activated, the passes will link to their My Disney Experience account and any MagicBands they use.
Pro Tip: Add their passes to the
Disney MagicMobile service in the My Disney Experience app! If your kids have their own accounts (they must be at least 13 years old) and Apple devices, you can share their passes to their Apple Wallets for easier entry and access to Passholder perks. Adding to Android devices will work as well.
If you’ve got more questions about discounts, linking passes, or planning your family’s adventures, don’t hesitate to stop by again. I hope you all have a magical year of Disney fun!
See ya real soon,
Eean
