First of all, congratulations on getting yourself a shiny new
Magic Key Pass! It's nice to be able to welcome another one of us into the club. Now that you have your Key, don't forget to check the Magic Key Portal every time you visit the Disneyland Resort. It's found in the
Disneyland Mobile App and I find some pretty cool things there!
Thanks for bringing your question to us. Oh dear, I hope that your Magic Key wasn't inadvertently activated! I don't have access to your account so I can't see what might have occurred. Typically, only activated Magic Keys are eligible for discounts, so I understand your concern. I have heard of situations where perhaps a glitch occurred and a Guest received the discount even though their Magic Key was not yet activated. Did you use your Key to access parking? According to the
Terms and Conditions, it will also become activated if you use it for a fully-paid entry into a Disneyland Resort parking lot.
You could check your Tickets and Passes in the Mobile App and see what your expiration date says. If you're still there at the Resort, a Cast Member at Guest Relations would be able to look up your account. If you're back home, I would recommend calling the
Magic Key Guest Services phone line and speak to a Cast Member there. Either way, I hope your issue gets resolved.
