Hiya, Emily! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so excited to hear that you've made plans to visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth! But what happens when life takes a not-so-magical turn? First, I'd like to send you a warm hug from my pal, Olaf. Having to change your plans, no matter the reason, can be disappointing. Second, I'd love to help you with your options so you don't miss a moment of the magic!
Emily, the
current Walt Disney World Resort ticket policy states that theme park tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Unfortunately, this also means that your tickets to Walt Disney World Resort cannot be transferred or used towards the purchase of Disneyland tickets. After speaking to a Cast Member, this ticket policy has remained the same, even in the event of the current storm. However, I have an idea that may be just right for you! You can change the start date of your ticket or use the value of your unused ticket at a later date. You can do this by
calling Ticket Services at (407) 560-2428 and speaking with one of the wonderful Cast Members! They will be happy to help you with this change.
I'm sending you all the faith, trust, and pixie dust that you're able to return to Walt Disney World Resort soon! And when you do, you can be sure that the magic will be ready and waiting for you.
See ya real soon!
Michelle
