Greetings to you, Roberta, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm sorry to hear that your plans to visit the Disneyland Resort had to be postponed for a family emergency. We hope that you'll be able to return and visit the Happiest Place on Earth at some point this year but we certainly understand that family comes first.
Roberta, I'm glad to let you know that your
Theme Park Ticket is quite flexible. Disneyland Resort Theme Park Tickets do have an expiration date but they generally have very long shelf lives. For instance, if you were to purchase a one-day ticket today, it would not expire until December 30, 2024. You can check the expiration date by accessing your e-Ticket via the confirmation email you received after your purchase. Even if the expiration date passes, Disney will still allow you to apply the cost of an expired, wholly unused ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket per the
Terms and Conditions.
If you would like, the ticket may also be transferred to someone else as long as it has not been used. This may be done on the
Disneyland website or within the
Disneyland Mobile App and the recipient will need to link the ticket to their Disneyland account. The name on the ticket should not be an issue but if you would like to change it regardless, please call
Ticket Guest Services to speak to a Cast Member.
Roberta, I hope you'll be able to find your way back to the Disneyland Resort sometime in the future. With the
Disney100 Celebration going on all year, anytime is a good time to visit! For the latest news and updates, be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog! Thanks again for visiting and please feel free to come on back whenever you need something else from us!
Have a Magical Day!
