A warm planDisney welcome from the Pacific Northwest to you, Hannah. Thanks for visiting us with your question. I'm so excited to hear that you are planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort. I am also usually the planner of my group and I'm thrilled to help out.
I'm sorry to hear that one person in your party is no longer able to attend. While assigning names to each theme park ticket is helpful when trying to keep everything organized in the
Disneyland app, the names are not checked or verified for park admission. That said, you can absolutely give a wholly unused ticket to someone else. A Cast Member will take each person's photo at the entrance which will serve as the ticket holder's identification for the remainder of its use. Easy peasy, no need to worry about the names on the tickets.
It looks like your visit will take place just before the end of
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. I absolutely love the spooky season at the parks. The giant Mickey pumpkin greeting me for my day puts an immediate smile on my face. I love all of the
fall adornments throughout the resort and always look forward to the seasonal eats and treats. Be sure to make a pit stop in "Radiator Screams" to check out their spooktacular decorations. The residents always go all out with their Haul-O-Ween décor.
Hannah, I hope this has been helpful as you continue planning for your ghoulishly good time. Please come back to visit us with any other questions that you might be curious about. Until then, I wish you continued happy planning!
