If I’m only going to the parks for a day and only would like to stay one night at a resort, but also would like the perks like early entry to the parks what should I do? Should I stay the night before my park day or the night of?

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Stavros. We're so glad you stopped by to share this question with us. Oh boy! Your visit to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it and I'm delighted to help you prepare.

I love staying in the Disney bubble at a Disneyland Resort hotel whenever I can. You've dialed in on one of the many reasons that I love to stay on resort property - the Early Entry benefit. It doesn't get any better than being able to enjoy the park 30 minutes before the park opens to the general public. You can get a head start on quite a few of the attractions on your list.

Did you know that you can enjoy all of the benefits of staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel on both your check-in and check-out day? There's a little fun fact for you. Your question really comes down to each individual's preference. Personally, I like to have a little bit of relaxation and take it a little easy before my planned (early entry) rope drop to park closing day at the parks. I would probably check in and stay the night before my park day. This will help me feel rested and ready to take on the day and all the churros. Plus, it will be a close and easy walk to the theme park in the morning when staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel the night before.

No matter what you decide, be sure to check the theme park calendar to make sure that your theme park reservation aligns with the designated theme park that is offering the Early Entry benefit for the day. You can check your bags with the Bell Desk before heading out on your magical adventure.

Pixar Fest will still be running during your visit and you'll get to enjoy the celebration of friendship and fun. Make sure to download the Disneyland app for your stay. This is a handy tool with a map of the resort, attraction wait times and the feature to mobile order food and beverage

Stavros, I hope this has been helpful as you are getting ready for your magical stay. No matter what you decide, I hope you have your best Disney day! Let the countdown to the magic begin!
