I bought Disney tickets in 2006 and didn't get to use them are thet still valid

    Hello there Sheila,

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sending us your question today. What a magical find! Let's talk about how to utilize this treasure of yours, and get a Disney World vacation planned for your future.

I've got great news! Disney's policy is to honor all unexpired theme park tickets with unused days. So, yes! You should still be able to use those tickets! To get your tickets back on track, and linked up to your My Disney Experience account for easy use within the app or a MagicBand... you'll want to call a Cast Member, and they can assist you with converting your older tickets.

I would recommend also installing the My Disney Experience app, to make sure you've got an account set up and ready to go. Then once the Cast Member gets them linked, you'll be able to view your park tickets inside the app. You'll find it's useful for so many things on your trip, from entering the parks, checking attraction wait times, or even placing a mobile food order to save time standing in line.

Have you heard about the exciting offer being featured for all guests staying at a Disney Resort in 2025? They receive free admission to a Disney water park on arrival day! What a splashtastic deal, and opportunity to pack in even more fun to your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

I always recommend to friends that they check the Disney World Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page when considering a Disney vacation. You may find a room-only discount offer that pairs well with your current tickets, that allows you to save some money. Because you know what they say, Sheila. A penny saved, is a penny to spend on Mickey ice cream bars and Disney souvenirs. I think it goes something like that...?

I hope this helps, and that you're able to plan a wonderful trip to Disney World soon. Please feel free to send me any additional questions you may have, or even just pop me a message if you'd like some fun recommendations on parks or dining.

    Sending pixie-dust to you!
    Tami
