Hi there, Jose! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so sorry that you've experienced such a mix-up in your plans! Even though sunny Florida is beautiful all year round, I'm sure you were pretty bummed out when you realized you made plans for across the country instead of in your home state!
Disneyland Resort and
Walt Disney World Resort may have both been the amazing idea of Walt Disney, but over the years the two Parks have become independent from each other, meaning that Theme Park Tickets for Disneyland Resort in California cannot be used or interchanged with
Theme Park Tickets from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Because tickets for both Resorts are
nontransferable and nonrefundable and the Parks have different ticket operating systems I believe your best bet is to speak with a Cast Member at the
Existing Tickets line at (407)934-7639 to see what your options are for the tickets you've already purchased.
Hopefully, they'll be able to sort this out for you so that you can head to Disneyland Resort and enjoy the excitement of
Disney California Adventure Park as well as Disneyland Park!
However, if you ever decide to visit Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, I know you won't be disappointed! With over 40 square miles included in the Resort's property, you'll really feel like you've escaped from the "real world." Walt Disney World has four Theme Parks:
Magic Kingdom,
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Disney's Animal Kingdom, two
Water Parks and the shopping, dining and entertainment district of
Disney Springs. Even though I know Disneyland Resort may have your heart, Walt Disney World is an all-encompassing vacation destination that someday you'll just have to see to believe!
