We bought discounted tickets on base. They are not active duty tickets. I have linked them to my Disney experience app and have made reservations for each day in the park. My question is do I have to go to the ticket center to activate? Or am I good to go

Hi Kim! Thank you for visiting us at planDisney, and for your question! I am happy to help!

Thank you for your family's service! I know y'all must be super excited about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Purchasing discounted Magic Your Way tickets on base was a great idea not only because of the savings but also the fact that these tickets are "activated!". What does that mean exactly? This means you do not have to visit Guest Relations before entering your first theme park to activate your tickets (unlike the Disney Military Salute Tickets) using Military ID! As long as you have made Theme Park Pass Reservations in advance (which you have!), you can proceed to the entrance turnstiles and begin your magical day!

If your family is on active duty, I suggest stopping at Guest Relations not for tickets but for the military discount on Memory Maker! I love photos, and Walt Disney World has taken some of my favorite family photos, whether in front of Cinderella Castle or a silly photo at an attraction! The Memory Maker discount for military members is currently priced at $98, which is a great deal (prices are subject to change). If this is something you are interested in, check it out!

Thank you for visiting us at planDisney, Kim! If you have other questions before your visit, send them my way. You've got a friend in me!

    Happy Planning!
