I bought 3-day tickets last Friday for a trip in January, but now that the socal discount tickets were announced I'd like to change it to be those prices instead. What can I do about this?

    Hi Nin,

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I'm excited to hear you have an upcoming Disneyland Resort visit planned. I just love taking a January Disney vacation as it helps cure those winter blues and gets the year off to a magical start!

The latest Southern California Resident ticket offers are a great value for guests visiting from zip codes 90000-93599. These tickets require proof of residency and are valid for use between January 2 and June 2, subject to blockout dates and theme park reservation availability. If you live in an eligible zip code you are welcome to take advantage of the offer, but unfortunately, there isn't a way to modify your existing tickets to apply these offers. Tickets are non-refundable and credits or refunds are not offered if a new ticket promotion becomes available.

I hate the be the bearer of this less-than-magical news, but I'd like to suggest an alternative solution. If you plan to visit Disneyland Resort multiple times this year you can still purchase tickets under this offer to use at a later date, as the tickets are valid through June 2nd. Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival returns March 1 through April 22, 2024, and is always a really fun and delicious time to visit if you're looking for a reason to make a second trip.

Alternatively, you can purchase new tickets using this offer for your current January dates, and then use your existing tickets on a later occasion. You should be able to easily modify any existing theme park reservations using the Disneyland App. Just be sure to make new reservations if you decide to utilize the SoCal resident offer. Additionally, the value of your wholly unused expired tickets can be applied to the purchase of new tickets as long as they are of equal or greater value. Whether you take an extra trip in 2024 or plan a future visit, the more visits the better, I say!

I hope this helps, Nin. Feel free to come back to planDisney with more questions. We are always glad to help. You can also contact a Cast Member by phone with additional questions or if you need assistance modifying your travel dates.

    Wishing you magic and memories,
    Amy
